*lsl-like criss cross of individual components

shorthand for arr:map{arr:get, [i_0, i_1, i_2, ...]} ?

if we are able to express such an idea so concisely and efficiently, is there a need for swizzling at all anymore ? the above is arguably just as clear, if not more so, in that it does not abstract away the underlying function calls, thereby allowing greater flexibility
