replacement for printf ; either needs #2 or stdout mutex

would map the enum to a message string array, and print as
${time} ${name} ${message}

by default knight.name would be its index itoa'd

canonical|whimsical mode
macro which if defined would assign random names to knights rather than their id, and would pick from a different message pool
